It Starts

Hello everyone! Well i’m gonna start off my blog with something i think everyone will enjoy. So first of all I don’t know if anyone knows this but there is some software out there that is just as good as Photoshop for picture editing…no it’s true!! Shocked arn’t you? Here are the ones I have used.

Paint.NET — Free but needs .NET Framework 2.0 before use (only for windows)

The GIMP — Free completely open source. (for all windows, mac, and linux)

SplashUp — Free online browser based, auto share with Flicker, Picasa (no need to download works on all moder browsers)

Then there is photoshop of course. It’s great and everyone loves photoshop but I have no money and I don’t want a illegal version and besides there isn’t a version for Linux. *sad face*

So lets get started i’ll be useing the GIMP for this little demonstration. So I hope you enjoy it.
